Real Wedding: Banie & Chanté

A Monochrome Masterpiece

In the heart of Hartbeespoort, where modern architecture meets natural serenity, Banie & Chanté began their wedding day with quiet elegance and bold intention. Hosted at the breathtaking Artelier, their celebration unfolded in a palette of black and white—refined, romantic, and deeply personal.

A Welcome That Sparkled with Style

Guests were first greeted by a crisp white welcome sign nestled among soft blooms, inscribed simply with “Bané & Chanté | 23.09.2023.” It held not only the couple’s names and date, but also the ceremony program—an understated invitation to witness a day crafted with care.

thoughtful touches

Inside the ceremony space, minimalist programs echoed the couple’s love for clean lines and intentional design. These small but meaningful details created a sense of cohesion, where every element felt connected. And among the most heartfelt gestures was a single white candle, framed by a sleek black holder and a sign that read: “This candle burns with love, warmth and gratefulness in honour of those who are not here today, but are forever present in our hearts.” It was a moment of remembrance—quiet, powerful, and deeply moving.

A Welcome That Sparkled with Style

As the celebration transitioned into evening, guests were welcomed by a show-stopping champagne wall: a black architectural shelving unit adorned with gold mirror acrylic name tags, each flute engraved with a guest’s name and table number. Cascading white florals and fresh greenery softened the bold silhouette, setting the tone for a night of elegance and joy.

Tablescape Perfection

The reception tablescape was a study in contrast and harmony. Black plates and cutlery rested on warm wooden tables, accented by translucent menu cards and crisp white name tags fastened with black eyelets. Subtle gold details shimmered under ambient lighting, while modern white acrylic table numbers—printed in bold black—brought clarity and cohesion to the layout.

A Symbol of Togetherness

One of the most symbolic moments came during the unity ceremony. Banie & Chanté poured gold and brown sand into a bespoke glass box, each shade representing their individual journeys. The box, inscribed with their names and wedding date, became a keepsake of their vows and the life they were beginning together.

A Celebration of Contrast and Connection

From the first glass of champagne to the final dance, every detail of this wedding reflected a balance of form and feeling. It was a celebration of contrast and connection—where boldness met grace, and love was expressed in every intentional touch
